Ever since the world shrank to a size of a smartphone and we could travel to the other side of the globe within one click, we have been more eager to draw inspirations from the most distant corners of the world. It's difficult to overlook that the current trends aren't set by the frosty Parisian or London streets but by Australia basking in the summer sun. With each layer of warm clothes that we have to put on, our longing for airy dresses, hot sand, and drinks with pineapple is increasing. Chilled and yearning for the summer season, we enviously watch our colleagues from another hemisphere promoting their Instagram accounts against the backdrop of sun rays.

The most interesting directions are set by beautiful female Instagram users from Australia. That comes as no surprise. This continent-country is famous for the scale – everything is more abundant there: niche clothing brands, vintage shops, spiders, kangaroos, or highways. We can't also forget about the number of paradise beaches (more than ten thousand) where the famous bloggers can present hot fashion trends and athletic bodies. Today, I will try to shortly describe their choices.

koszula – The Seaside Tones (100% len)

Skład mojej bluzy to w stu procentach bawełna i jestem przekonana, że pokochałyby ją też Australijki. Ten model znajdziecie w ofercie polskiej marki Hibou Essentials. Jasne kolory to hit w krainie kangurów, bo dobrze kontrastują się z opalonym ciałem.

1. The street chooses nature

If I were to tell you what I like about Australian street fashion the most, I would use one phrase, that is "being down-to-earth". Large brands are one thing, and the things that we see on Instagram and what we really would like to have in our wardrobes are another thing. When it comes to Australian wardrobes, I would borrow everything that falls into one category with the most superb trend of summer – a season that is in full swing in Australia and one that is approaching our part of the world – boho style! Saasha Burns is a real master of this climate. I, together with hundreds of thousands of Instagram users, love to follow her life. Play and femininity combined with girlish charm – that's what we want right now! And these have to be natural fabrics – linen, good-quality denim, and light as air cotton.

Why do Australian women praise high-quality fabrics so much? When the body is in a constant contact with the sun and is lashed with salty ocean air, it needs soft touch that is devoid of irritative plastic and artificiality. If you like the feel of natural fabrics on your skin as well, you should check out The Seaside Tones, Zimmermann, Shona Joy, and Hibou Essentials.

No i koniecznie naturalne tkaniny – len, dobrej jakości dżins i lekka jak piórko bawełna.

Jeśli też lubicie czuć naturalne tkaniny na swojej skórze, powinnyście zajrzeć do The Seaside Tones, Zimmermann, Shona Joy i Hibou Essentials.

2. Juicy and healthy

When I think about the tastes of summer – fresh juicy vegetables and fruit come to my mind immediately. And that is exactly what we can see on Australian women's Instagram accounts. Their plates are loaded down with beautifully colourful salads, sandwiches with tomatoes, and melon balls. Art works full of vitamins, porridges rich in fruits of nature, vegetable flat breads, and coconuts filled with healthy cocktails are not shown for the sole purpose of earning more likes. Australian women rightly make the assumption that the more beautiful the food, the more eagerly we will eat it – that is why it should be shown in a spectacular way. It works for me – when I see beautiful sandwiches, vegetable compositions, and appropriately served fruit, chocolate and cookies seem boring, regular, and not appetising at all. If you are searching for interesting recipes (and a couple of pieces of advice connected with healthy eating), you should check out the new Vanessa Bedjai-Haddad's book „Digest Food” – it is a real treasure trove of healthy meals. My stomach was stolen by desserts – rice on almond milk with mango, baked figs with honey and cinnamon, and coconut flan.

Australian mother nature doesn't have only fruit in store for her beautiful children. She has one more treasure which becomes increasingly popular also in our country – macadamia nuts. Rich in unsaturated fats, phosphorus, and potassium, they are beneficial for our heart and they decrease the risk of heart attack. Even though they contain plenty of calories, they don't have any negative impact on our diet. That's why they help us to maintain slim figure.

2. Soczyście i zdrowo

Jeśli szukacie ciekawych przepisów (i kilku porad odnośnie zdrowego odżywania), zajrzyjcie do nowej książki „Digest Food” Vanessy Bedjai-Haddad, to prawdziwa skarbnica zdrowych potraw.

3. Australia is fit

We already know that fit treats really work. But that is, of course, not everything. Australian women love working out, running, and mostly boasting with their figures. It is common knowledge that each of us is most eager to work out before the bikini season, and the fact that this season last almost all the time requires Australians to take some steps.

Kayla Itsines, known around the world as "Australian Chodakowska" is a real goddess when it comes to athletic lifestyle. She is followed by more than nine million users, and there are new people, who are delighted with her workout sets, coming each day. In a moment, Polish women will have the opportunity to check out her effectiveness, because her book – „The Bikini Body Diet 28-Day Healthy Eating and Lifestyle Guide" – is coming to our book stores. It includes a workout plan for twenty-eight days – it's elastic enough to include slight changes on days when we have got additional errands to tend to. If we aren't able to do our workout, the whole effort won't be wasted. Kayla writes a lot about food groups. Thanks to her advice, it is possible to easily control the size of meal portions in a way that is friendly for our organism. In her recipes, Kayla very often includes matcha as one of the ingredients. It comes as no surprise as it is the best antioxidant in the world – it decreases ageing processes, immunises our organism, and allows our muscles to regenerate quicker after a workout. Large amount of antioxidants can be found in fresh fruit and vegetables, but matcha is characterised by their largest concentration. You can drink it hot or cold. My favourite version is „post-workout” – I've got a special water bottle which can be also used as a shaker. It's made of double glass so you can safely pour boiling water into it. The mini packet of matcha that you can see in the photo comes from  MoyaMatcha.com store – the link can be found here.

4. Beauty is all about oils and ocean

The effectiveness of Australian women when it comes to caring for their appearance could give us complexes. They aren't embarrassed to reveal that they sometimes use the help of a friendly plastic surgery specialist (by the way, I’m curious about the impact of weather in this matter as it compels women to show their bodies). Plastic surgery is one thing, but the girls have also mastered some natural ways that can be pursued to improve their appearance. Hard work when it comes to their figure, strict diet, excess of vitamin D, and love of everything that is healthy aren't meaningless.

Filters, filters, and once more filters. None of the Australian women who care for their beauty have to be reminded that sun protection is important. In Australia, no one ignores the necessity to use products with UV filters – they are part of every good cosmetic, also makeup cosmetics. Owing to that, our skin will be young for a longer period of time (discovery of the year ;)).

Following the assumption that beauty benefits the most from natural things, Australian women are in love with oils. They use them for moisturising, oiling, cleansing, and relaxation. Makeup can be easily removed with the use of coconut oil, diluted sandalwood oil smooths and brightens tanned skin, and almond oil, which is full of vitamins, improves the condition of our dried hair. My last discovery is  face oil (serum) with ferulic acid and vitamin C by Yasumi – it nicely brightens the skin, reduces first ageing sings, and delicately removes skin discolouration (you can order it from two sites: here and here).

Each person struggling with skin imperfections should follow the rule that the best solutions are provided by mother nature. Women living on the Antipodes Islands discovered that basil is very effective in combating acne a long time ago. Basil toner and face mask can be easily prepared at home. It is enough to pour some water over the powdered leaves and leave it for 2-3 hours. Use the medicinal mixture to cleanse your skin or place a couple of soaked cotton pads on your face. What is the thing that our hair misses the most when it's so tired and full of static from hats, scarves, and sweaters that we put over our heads? A beach hairdo – when our hair is drying and we are left with natural waves from the sun. Australian women have their ways for a "surfer hairdo" even when they aren't really spending their time by the ocean (as they do it almost all the time :)). They never part with bottles filled with salty sea water. It is enough to delicately spray your head in order for your waves to attain natural summer shape.

4. Uroda olejkami i oceanem stoi

To, z jaką skutecznością Australijki dbają o wygląd niejedną z nas mogłoby wprawić w kompleksy.

Filtry, filtry i jeszcze raz filtry.

Stosują je do nawilżania, natłuszczania, oczyszczania i relaksu. Makijaż najlepiej usuwa olejek kokosowy, rozcieńczony olejek sandałowy wygładza i rozjaśnia opaloną skórę, a pełen witamin olejek z migdałów poprawia kondycję wysuszonych włosów. Moim ostatnim odkryciem jest olejek (serum) do twarzy z kwasem ferulowym i witaminą C marki Yasumi – pięknie rozjaśnia skórę, redukuje pierwsze oznaki starzenia i usuwa delikatne przebarwienia (możecie go zamówić w dwóch miejscach: tutaj i tutaj).

5. Jungle in your home

If you are fed up with the popular Scandinavian inspirations, I've got some good news! White and grey interiors are starting to show some colour. And these are not just any hues, these are strong green accents that refer to the jungle and primary forests. The fashionable plant motifs are ramping up our cushions, floor coverings, and curtains. Australian interior design trendsetters have already tried this motif earlier, but it came to our stores only this season. That's why we can boldly get crazy with printed leaves as there was someone before us who made sure that they will match rooms that had been very rigidly looking so far.

The latest home design trends from the other end of the world pay homage to nature again – both in terms of colours and fabrics. Wooden elements have rigid character and our living rooms start to feature rattan and leather. When it comes to accessories, it's good to fill up the space with ethnic ornaments. I don't want to part with my beloved white colour, but fresh green matches it pretty nicely. Your home doesn't have to go through a total makeover in order for you to bring some Australian motifs to our country – it is enough to implement a few elements that will be a treat for the eyes – I started with pillowcases and a graphic design depicting a leaf.

Were a couple of really frosty mornings, a few gusts of cold wind, and red cheeks stinging due to chilly weather enough for you to miss sweltering days as well? Well, we need to wait a little bit longer, but we can always search for summer in the photos from Australia and become trend hunters for a while.

5. Dżungla w mieszkaniu

Jeśli znudziły Wam się popularne skandynawskie inspiracje, mam dobrą wiadomość! Białe i szare wnętrza nabierają kolorów.
