We tend to say that when it comes to travelling the way we reach our destination is equally important as the destination itself. It's probably about the philosophical and psychological aspect and not the art of choosing your clothes, but the truth is that a bad outfit can spoil our mood right at the very start of the trip. Boarding pass that you can't stick anywhere or that you lose in the depths of your handbag (and then you search for it blindly when strangers are frantically breathing onto your neck), uncomfortable shoes, feet freezing on the airplane (always take socks if there is a longer flight ahead), or an outfit that isn't quite matching the weather at our destination spot – these are only a few details that can spoil our day. There's also the age-long dilemma – stay elegant like Vicotira Beckham or wear sweatpants like Małgorzata Rozenek?

This trip wasn't connected with my work so I could wear something really casual. Due to the fact that mornings in Tricity are still very cool and, besides, that we never know what the temperature will be during the flight, I decided to go for three layers – a T-shirt, a sweatshirt, and a denim jacket. I also put on a pair of white sneakers that I'd been searching for a long time (these are ideal: well profiled, leather on the inside and on the outside, and they didn't graze my feet even after many hours of walking).
