We've decided that this week will be all about a subject that has been slightly neglected on the blog. Wedding and wedding receptions are important moments both for the newly married couple and the invited guests – all events of this type stay in our memories for years and often become the subject of discussions that last for several weeks. What outfit to wear, what is appropriate and what is not, where to look for appropriate accessories – such questions have appeared on the blog from the very beginning of its existence; therefore, this week we will try to solve all of your doubts.

If you are preparing for a wedding or you are newly engaged but you have already started imagining your dress, have a look at our Polish brands before you move on to visiting regular wedding dress salons. Some of the projects seem to me an ideal balance between elegance and effortless play. You really don't have to travel to Paris or Milan to find a beautiful and unique wedding dress.

Warsaw Poet

Magdalena Socha-Włodarska, the founder of Warsaw Poet, has an interesting view on wedding dresses. Her projects are for women who don't want a conventional wedding and a lavish wedding reception. Customers who visit the boutique search for something more than a piece of clothing to adorn them. The founder of the brand proves that a wedding dress doesn't have to be a one-time outfit. Magdalena Socha-Włodarska also designs dresses for other special occasions.

Below, you will find photos from a campaign created by Sonia Szóstak.

Warsaw Poet

Laurelle

The fans of perfectly fitting forms should check out the lookbook of Laurelle atelier. These are options for all brides-to-be who dream about an elegant and sophisticated wedding. Even though there are plenty of airy models in the latest collection, tight-fitting dresses that highlight the figure are what draw attention the most.

If the collection lacks your dream outfit, Laurelle will be happy to design it. "There isn't a dress that we can't sew" – this sentence should be enough ever for the most demanding customers. Probably that is why the brand is so popular among the red carpet socialites. Paulina Sykut-Jeżyna, among others, is impressed with the dresses.

Laurelle

Fanki perfekcyjnie dopasowanych form powinny natomiast zajrzeć do lookbooka pracowni Laurelle.

Bizuu Bridal

Blanka Jordan and Zuzanna Wachowiak, privately sisters, professionally the founders of Bizuu brand, pay homage to femininity and try to guess women's desires in each of their collections. Their wedding collections will surely be of interest for fans of fashion who aren't afraid of bold ideas and want their outfit to stand out from the crowd.

Bizuu Bridal

Blanka Jordan i Zuzanna Wachowiak, prywatnie siostry, zawodowo założycielki marki Bizuu, w każdej swojej kolekcji składają hołd kobiecości i starają odgadnąć pragnienia kobiet.

Atelier Twardowska

If you are dreaming about a romantic wedding reception, a dress from Atelier Twardowska will be a true cherry on top. Brand's designs are dominated by French lace and delicate ethereal fabrics.

Karolina Twardowska had her debut as a designer of wedding dresses (previously she was creating lingerie and stage costumes) in 2015. She surprised and excited the whole industry with the lightness of her creations, attention to detail, and mostly with a subtle vision of the bride. She remained faithful to her original idea in her collections for following seasons. In the latest collection, you will find references to the 70s, retro style, and her signature detail – openwork trimmings.

Atelier Twardowska

Jeśli marzycie o weselu w romantycznym klimacie, prawdziwym jego ukoronowaniem będzie suknia z Atelier Karoliny Twardowskiej. W projektach tej marki dominuje francuska koronka i delikatne, eteryczne materiały.

Karolina Twardowska jako projektantka sukien ślubnych (wcześniej tworzyła bieliznę i kostiumy na scenę) zadebiutowała w 2015 roku, zachwycając całą branżę lekkością swoich dzieł, dbałością o detale i przede wszystkim inną, subtelną wizją panny młodej. Temu obrazowi pozostała wierna w propozycjach na kolejne sezony. W najnowszej kolekcji znajdziecie nawiązania do lat 70., stylu retro oraz jej znak rozpoznawczy, czyli ażurowe wykończenia.
