Should we blindly follow trends which we don’t even particularly like? Let’s not force ourselves into anything. Lots of you didn’t really go for my Resort 2013 looks and I think I know where you’re coming from there even though I’m a real fan of them! We all have our own style and we shouldn’t feel pressured into changing it every time a new trend appears – that just won’t work out. If we don’t squeal with joy at the sight of white shoes, let’s not buy them just because they happen to be “fashionable” (but, as you can see, I was squealing!). The devil isn’t as black as he’s painted, as they say, and today’s outfit is one such example: futuristic and abstract fashion coffee-table books could just be a source of inspiration and we don’t have to take them too seriously :)
