It was sweltering and beautiful, just as it should be on holidays – even the shortest holidays. We'd heard many bad things about Saint-Tropez – that it's overrated, expensive, crowded… When I return from my trip, I'd like to show all of those killjoys a list of really overrated places and ask about the rationale behind their strict assessment. We – the avid fans of "The Troops of St Tropez" with Louis de Funès – had decided to visit Saint-Tropez despite all of the unfavourable opinions and I don't regret that at all. In comparison to the famous small towns of Amalfi Coast, it is almost deserted, the beaches are sandy and beautiful, and the town itself is exactly how we saw it in the movies (well, maybe there are more yachts moored in the harbour, but you don't really have to pay attention to them), the prices are like in most European resorts (in comparison to Mykonos and Sardinia, I would even say that they are affordable). We avoided venues known for their opulent flair (we didn't even come close to the well-known Club 55 on Pampeluna Beach), yet instead we were able to see some uncharted recesses.

The photos from today's post were taken on a small beach in the very heart of the town – allegedly, it was the favourite path of Brigitte Bardot herself. When it comes to the dress, I need to warn you that you won't find it in the stores – it was redone by me in a million different ways. However, you can buy my watch and bracelet at a more affordable price. When buying Daniel Wellington watch, you'll get a 50% discount on the bracelet. Remember to use my code: MAKELIFEEASIER to get an additional 15% discount.

My – wielcy fani "Żandarma" z Louis de Funès – postanowiliśmy odwiedzić Saint Tropez mimo niezachęcających opinii i nie żałujemy ani trochę.
