I've always tried to approach "special event outfits" with some distance. In the majority of cases, I simply chose one of my two black lace dresses, and each time I came to the conclusion that instead of running around the stores in search of something with the "wow" factor, it's better to opt for such classic solutions. With one exception – choosing a black dress for a wedding isn't the right thing to do.

When we receive the wedding invitation cards, we usually still have enough time and we aren't really bothered by the choice of an appropriate outfit. However, a couple of weeks later, when we are going through the contents of our wardrobe in a pretty relaxed manner, and we suddenly come to the conclusion that we have nothing to wear, the hectic search for a solution starts. Usually, it's already too late – chain stores don't have most popular sizes any more, the dressmaker bursts with laughter when she hears about the event date, the parcel from the States won't arrive in time (you can find many discounts and promotions in American online stores, but it's more difficult when it comes to returns and delivery costs), and the dress that you've got in your wardrobe has been seen by almost all your friends. Three times.

Learning from previous experience, I know that when I see a dress at an acceptable price that doesn't require many alterations in a store, I should buy it. Even when there are six months left until the wedding reception. Following that assumption, I've decided to introduce wedding guest dresses to MLE Collection a lot quicker – they are already available in pre-sale.

I wanted each model to highlight the figure differently. The first dress, worn by Monika, is similar cut- and colour-wise to the one that I worn during Gosia's wedding – however, that dress had many details that I quickly stopped liking so the current version is more classic, has different draping, and a different skirt. The red dress, worn by Asia, is an option for those girls who want to look impressively beautiful and feel comfortable at the same time. It was sewn from a soft jersey and, in my opinion, will be great for other occasions as well. The third dress was created with summer evenings in mind. It has regulated shoulder straps and an envelope front, owing to which you can easily adjust it to your figure. If you are worried by the deep décolletages, I highly recommend the use of a body tape – it is really affordable and makes even the most cut-out dress stay in place for the whole night (I've tested it personally!).  I hope that one of these dresses will save you from the wedding oppression and I'd also like to thank you for all your comments submitted during this passing thematic week. Have a peaceful evening!

Nawet jeśli do wesela zostało jeszcze pół roku.

Spokojnego wieczoru!
