   It is a little bit strange that summer is in its full swing, and I've been focused only on sweaters and woollen coats for a couple of days. Most of the models that can be found in MLE Collection for autumn/winter are ready; therefore, the time has come to prepare the advertising campaign. This photo shoot was very different from the photos that I prepare for this blog on a daily basis! Professional equipment, a hired studio, a true model, a multi-person team, and a lot of emotions. Having an opportunity to watch the talented Sonia Szóstak was extremely inspiring – now, I am anxiously waiting for the moment when I can present you with the effects of this photo shoot.

   Coming back to the topic of this post – for this day, I chose a simple top with blue stripes and a pair of black cigarette trousers. I also opted for flat shoes because I can't imagine running around in high heels on such a day.

   Jest to odrobinę dziwne, że lato trwa w najlepsze, a ja od kilku dni żyłam jedynie swetrami i wełnianymi płaszczami. Większość modeli jesienno-zimowej kolekcji MLE Collection jest już gotowa, przyszedł więc czas na realizację kampanii reklamowej. Jak bardzo różniła się ta sesja od zdjęć, które przygotowuję na co dzień na potrzeby bloga! Profesjonalny sprzęt, wynajęte studio, modelka z prawdziwego zdarzenia, wieloosobowa ekipa i mnóstwo emocji. Podglądanie utalentowanej Soni Szóstak było niezwykle inspirujące – teraz z niecierpliwością czekam na moment, gdy będę mogła pokazać wam efekt tych zdjęć. 

   Wracając do tematu wpisu, na ten dzień wybrałam prosty top w niebieskie prążki i czarne cygaretki. Postawiłam też na płaskie balerinki, bo w taki dzień nie wyobrażałam sobie biegania w obcasach.

   Another ideal Saturday by the sea has passed. Admittedly, I wouldn't call that type of weather ideal, but you can fall in love with Polish beaches even when grey clouds are milling about above them. It is strange to choose an outfit that is supposed to be practical when there is a cool wind blowing outside, and a second after, the sun is coming out and instantly warms the air. That is the reason for the strange combination of a long woollen sweater, a summer jumpsuit, and the most comfortable pair of sandals in the world.

   Kolejna idealna sobota nad morzem za nami. Pogody co prawda nie nazwałabym idealną, ale w polskich plażach można się zakochać nawet wtedy, gdy kłębią się nad nią szare chmury. Dziwnie jest wybierać strój, który powinien sprawdzić się gdy na zewnątrz wieje chłodny wiatr, a za chwilę wychodzi słońce i robi się gorąco. Stąd to dziwne połączenie długiego wełnianego swetra, letniego kombinezonu i najwygodniejszych sandałów na świecie.

   Marynistyczne akcenty są nieodłącznym elementem mojej letniej garderoby. I wcale nie uważam, aby były zarezerwowane tylko dla mieszkańców nadmorskich kurortów. Pasiaste wzory i połączenia klasycznych kolorów (takich jak biel, czerń, granat, czerwień czy beż) zawsze wyglądają schludnie, niezależnie od tego czy jesteśmy właśnie na molo w Orłowie, czy pędzimy do biura w centrum miasta. 

   Moja wersja marynistycznego stroju jest stonowana, dzięki czemu jest elegancka mimo wakacyjnego charakteru. Jako zwolenniczka niewymuszonego stylu chętnie wybieram espadryle zamiast butów na obcasie. Świetnie pasują do luźniejszych białych cygaretek. Czarna marynarka i torebka, to przykład wiosenno-jesiennych rzeczy, które przy odpowiednim połączeniu można nosić też latem.

  Marine accents are an inseparable element of my summer wardrobe – and I don't think that they are reserved only for the dwellers of seaside resorts. Stripe pattern and the combinations of classic colours (such as white, black, dark blue, and red or beige) always look neat, regardless of whether we are going to the pier in Orłowo or rushing to the office in the centre of the city.

   My version of the marine outfit is toned-down, owing to which it is elegant despite its summer character. As a supporter of effortless style, I eagerly choose espadrilles instead of high heels. They are great when it comes to loose white cigarette trousers. A black blazer and a black handbag are examples of spring-autumn clothes which can also be worn in the summer if appropriately combined.

   Life in the Tricity has undoubtedly a lot of charm. Partially, it is thanks to the beach. It would be a sin to skip visiting it as long as the weather is nice. For holidaymakers lying on the beach for many hours is the main aim of the day, but for us – the dwellers – clear sky does not exempt us from our daily chores. Therefore, I visit the beautiful Sopot beach mostly in the evenings or on the weekends. What to wear if I am planning to spend some free time in the near vicinity of my beloved sea, listening to the sound of the waves, but, at the same time, I don't want to look like a sunbather during the day, when I've got my regular errands to run? I chose a long skirt, a denim jacket, and a linen top. I usually take my basket to the beach; however, due to the fact that it is no longer practical in the city, this time, I chose a leather bucket bag (which I bought with autumn/winter season in mind). Such a weekend outfit will be great in many situations.

   Życie w Trójmieście ma niewątpliwie wiele uroków. Jednym z nich jest oczywiście plaża, której po prostu żal nie odwiedzać jeśli tylko pogoda na to pozwala. Dla wczasowiczów wielogodzinne leżenie na plaży jest głównym celem dnia, ale dla nas, mieszkańców, czyste niebo nie zwalnia z codziennych obowiązków. Z pięknej sopockiej plaży korzystam więc głównie wieczorami lub w weekendy. Co więc włożyć, jeśli w wolnej chwili planuje spędzić trochę czasu blisko mojego ukochanego morza, wsłuchując się w szum fal, ale w ciągu dnia, kiedy toczy się normalne życie, nie chcę wyglądać jak plażowiczka? Ja postawiłam na długą spódnicę, dżinsową kurtkę i lniany top. Na plażę zabieram ze sobą zwykle mój koszyk, ale ponieważ w mieście nie spełnia już swojej roli, to tym razem wybrałam skórzany worek (który kupiłam z myślą o sezonie jesień/zima). Taki weekendowy strój dobrze sprawdzi się w wielu sytuacjach.
